Accounting

  • Add a Total By Account format to the trial balance designed to meet auditors' needs
  • Added a filter to the AP Invoice report to show Accrued, Un-accrued or Both
  • Added customer code to the Create Recurring Invoices window in Accounts Receivable
  • Annual % of Budget was not calculated on Monthly Comparison Composite for some users
  • Moved the Advanced Fund Accounting option to System Preferences
  • Renamed the Advanced Tab in Accounting Setup to Check Numbers and updated the check number list to use the full tab area
  • The multiple account selector used to pick between accounts that share a number will now list each account's fund code description, category description and sub-category description
  • Vendor listing report will print a detail list of vendors when performing an advanced search
  • When creating a recurring transaction for a new vendor, the ID Number/Vendor field of the detail line will populate with new vendor without having to save first and then modify record

CDM+ Mobile (coming December 4, 2013)

  • Added a Check-In app to CDM+ Mobile
  • Added a search feature to attendance in CDM+ Mobile
  • Attendance status code filters in CDM+ System Preferences will now be respected in CDM+ Mobile
  • CDM+ Mobile 1.2 now requires iOS 7.0 or later and drops support for iPhone 3G, 3GS and iPod Touch 2G, 3G, 4G and 1st gen iPad. See http://www.cdmplus.com/sysreqs
  • CDM+ Mobile can now take attendance for visitors and for individuals not enrolled in a group
  • CDM+ Mobile is now available for Android 4.x devices in both phone and tablet formats
  • CDM+ Mobile will now check the database build number and refuse to connect to databases that do not meet a minimum version
  • Enhanced the provision code so it's interactive from 3rd party apps
  • Fixed a crash on iPad when after viewing a sub-app in portrait mode, re-entering that same sub-app in landscape mode would crash the app 
  • Fixed an issue where CDM+ Mobile would not accept provision codes when opening the provision link from an e-mail
  • Improved error messages when launching CDM+
  • Launching CDM+ Mobile is faster and much more secure.
  • Provisions can move from one device to another
  • Provisions for CDM+ Mobile can now limit for which groups/events a device can take attendance

Check-In/Check-Out

  • A Print Server window is available to print Check-In Reports made from CDM+ Mobile
  • When selecting an individual or family during self check-in, the last four digits of the primary phone number will be displayed to differentiate individuals/families rather than the street address

COG Regional

  • COG Minister Process window will no longer filter out 'Exempt' ministers
  • COG Over Short Statements are now updated in a transaction
  • Treasurer Report record now displays and calculates on the appropriate percentages

Contributions

  • Actual vs Pledge by Month no longer generates error
  • Added a contribution breakdown field to contribution notices, custom listings and exports
  • Added a YTD giving field for giving units to notices, custom listings and exports
  • CDM+ will no longer give an error when inserting a memorial gift
  • Contribution Custom Listing report is now available from the Print button in Contribution Maintenance window
  • Contribution Export report list matches the Contributions Maintenance record frame window
  • Enabled two new Contributions reports: Contributions Statement Report and Pledge Custom Listing
  • Exposed the reference number for contributions
  • History Comparison report was duplicating some givers

  • Re-designed the standard giving search. New features include:
    • Allow selecting all events or giving funds easily
    • Loading a giving fund set is now similar to loading chart of account sets
    • Note that the divider between designations and events/payment types can be dragged
    • Showing inactive funds is a persistent checkbox option and inactive funds are marked with an asterisk
    • The "Current" date option has been removed
    • You can now search on payment types
    • NOTE: Saved report setups for reports that use the standard giving search will not translate saved search settings to the new interface

Conversions

  • Support for converting data from CDM+ Pro 8.0 has been dropped

DOC Regional

  • Fixed DOC Regional not displaying new/updated Search and Call ministers when doing update

Electronic Banking

  • CDM+ will now check to see if the Stewardship Technology system is online and responding normally before allowing these actions within CDM+:
    • Setup ACH account to submit Women's Reports payments for COG Regional
    • Setup ACH accounts for Treasurers Reports payments for COG Regional
    • Submit Women's Reports to the International Office from COG Regional
    • Transfer payment for Treasurers Reports via ACH when processing imported reports for COG Regional
    • Use Deposit Processing
  • Checking for the SST system status will output useful information to the CDM+ log when set to debug level

Event Registration

  • Activities can be assigned an optional category. This will group activities on the Registration Entry window and in standard searches
  • Event Registration record is now auto populating gender field from Individual record
  • In regional versions, the church will populate correctly when selecting an individual
  • Registrations can now be marked canceled, which prevents them from appearing on reports or in the post to ledger window
  • Standard letter, card and e-mail notices for Event Registrations and Activity Registrations are now available
  • The Notice Queue feature has been removed

General

  • All notices for all users now use the rich notice editor
  • Other information sets are now the standard system for tracking other information. Other Information Maintenance is now available
  • Renamed Support menu to Help. Added "Open Screen Sharing" to Help that opens join.me. Help is now available before logging into the program
  • Standard and Pro levels have been removed. All users now have "pro"-level features
  • There are three address lines available throughout the program
  • User Management has been renamed to Administration. There is a new look-and-feel to this window, especially when working with user permissions

Mailing

  • Added the permit number to mailing job setups
  • The CASS and NCOA import and export formats have been updated to be more compatible with Suran Systems' backend processing system

Membership

  • Address Summary now shows correct Advanced Find Fields
  • Turned on the Pastoral Records tab for Address and Individual Records

Memorial Gifts

  • Added notices, exports and custom listings to memorial gifts
  • Memorial Gifts given now stores an e-mail address
  • Re-organized memorial gifts reports menu
  • Updated memorial gifts report standard searches

Payroll

  • 941 settings can now be assigned on a per-line basis in the ledger
  • Active enrollment in support is required to calculate payroll, change payroll or generate tax tables
  • Added robust tax form generation through Aatrix
  • Multiple payers with different EIN values can be tracked and assigned to employees and their payroll
  • Tax table updates will be automatically installed. There is a new facility to prompt to install a mandatory program update specifically for payroll purposes
  • Tax Tables now track an effective date allowing multiple sets of tax tables to be installed. The correct set will be chosen based on the payroll paid date
  • The look and feel of the Write Payroll Checks window has been updated. It is now possible to print Auto-Draw, non-Auto-Draw or both
  • When calculating payroll, a beginning pay period date and paid date must be provided. All payroll reports now default to searching on paid date. Any YTD totals or cutoffs are now evaluated using paid date. The System Preference to calculate YTD values on check stubs off of paid date or pay period has been removed

Regional

  • A new system preference controls how church names are displayed throughout the programs
  • All church-based reports now allow the selection of which address to print
  • Church addresses are now labeled "Mailing" and "Physical"

System Requirements

  • 1024x768 is the new minimum screen resolution
  • CDM+ Mobile 1.0 for Android will run on any device running Android 4.0 or later
  • CDM+ Mobile 1.2 will require iOS 7.0 or later and will run on:
    • 2nd generation iPad or later
    • iPad mini (any generation)
    • iPhone 4 or later
    • iPod Touch 5th generaton or later
  • Mac OS X 10.6 or later is now required
  • PowerPC chips are no longer supported

Updating

  • Activating CDM+ is faster
  • Installing updates on Microsoft Windows Vista and later is now faster and more resilient
  • Re-activating a database is now accomplished with a single click
  • Reorganizing databases is faster and more resilient
  • Updating the database is now logged. Logs are available from Administration (formerly User Management)

WMT  (coming December 4, 2013)

  • Added a Monthly Calendar tool with optional weekly view. This tool is available as a standard tool for Roommate users with the Basic WMT Toolkit
  • Updated the interface for configuring Options on all tools
