Disable User Access Control (UAC) on Windows Vista

Open Control Panel window

Open Control Panel by (1) clicking on the Start button and (2) selecting Control Panel.

Select User Accounts and Family Safety

Click on the link (the words) "User Accounts and Family Safety."

Open User Accounts window

Click on the link (the words) User Accounts to go to the window where you can make changes to your user account.

Windows Vista: Open the "Turn User Account Control on or off"

Click on "Turn User Account Control on or off" to take you to the next window.

If you do not have access to make this change under your Windows Vista User Acount, then you will need to speak with someone at the church who maintains your computer systems.

Turn off User Account Control

(1) Make sure there is no check in the check box to turn on User Account Control (UAC).
(2) Click the OK button

Restart Windows Vista

Click on Restart Now to make the changes.

Once Windows Vista restarts, you are ready to continue the CDM+ installation process.
