Before installing CDM+ 11.0
Backup your data
Back all databases that will be updated to CDM+ 11.0. If you're on Data Hosting you can contact support to make a backup or simply rely on the nightly backup.
Download and install CDM+ using the links above. This will remove previous versions of CDM+ from your computer. Open CDM+ 11.0 and update your database, then begin using CDM+ normally.
The Congregational Profile Web Ministry Tool makes it possible for Disciples regions to keep a history of congregational profiles in their CDM+ database. When a search committee uses the Tool to create their congregational profile, that profile can be recalled by clicking Profile in the sidebar.
CDM+ allows you to archive data of your choosing. This post offers suggestions for what records might be best to archive.
If a member creates an Engage account using an email address that did not exist in the database, Engage will create new address, individual, and giving unit records. The new records may duplicate existing records in the database. This describes how to merge the information.
